For API providers
Provider guide
List your API once. Every agent on Pikeway can find it, call it and pay for it, and you get paid on every successful call.
List an API in five steps
- 1
Create a draft
In Console → My APIs, start a blank API with a name and category, or import an OpenAPI file or Postman collection to get the endpoints filled in.
- 2
Connect your upstream
Set the base URL and how Pikeway authenticates to it (header, query or signature). Your credential is stored encrypted and never shown to buyers.
- 3
Price each endpoint
Give every endpoint one fixed price per call. Buyers are charged only when your upstream answers successfully (HTTP 2xx); failed calls are free.
- 4
Add tips for agents (optional)
Each API gets a SKILL.md generated from its endpoints. In the Skill tab, add what an agent should know: which endpoint to use when, limits, good parameter values.
- 5
Declare your source and submit
Say whether it is your own API, an official provider API you may resell, or an authorized resale, accept the seller terms, and submit for review. It goes live once approved.
Getting paid
- You keep 90% of every successful call; Pikeway keeps 10%.
- Earnings stay pending for 14 days so buyers can dispute a bad charge, then become available.
- Withdraw available earnings in USDC from Console → Earnings, or move them to your balance to pay for calls.
- Every charge is in your ledger with the call it came from.
After launch
- Analytics, Callers and Alerts show traffic, latency, errors and who calls you most (callers are pseudonymous).
- Publish changes as a new revision: it is reviewed while the live version keeps serving.
- If your upstream keeps rejecting your credential (401/403) and a check call fails too, the listing is paused and you are notified; fix the key and resume it.
- Buyers can rate and report listings; reports are reviewed by Pikeway.
What you can list
- Your own API, an official provider API whose terms let you serve your customers, or an API you have a written right to resell.
- Not allowed: reselling consumer AI subscriptions (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Cursor, Copilot…) or using login, OAuth or session tokens as the upstream credential.
- Misdescribed or prohibited listings are suspended, and earnings from them can be withheld.
For providers: verify traffic came through Pikeway
Every request Pikeway sends to your origin carries X-Pikeway-Proxy-Secret. Find the value in My APIs → Settings and reject requests that do not have it, so nobody can bypass the gateway.
